Vintage Japanese Iaito, Unknown Manufacturer, Genuine Sendan Saya

This vintage iaito overall is in great shape. It features a genuine sendan (rattan wrapped) saya and vivid simulated hamon. The tsuka profile is a bit odd as the fuchi and kashira might not be original and appear slightly oversized. The wrap however is rock solid and the core does not have any splits. The tsuba has some slight pitting that has been deactivated. Someone apparently did not believe that you could not sharpen iaito and tried to sharpen the kissaki. It has a rough edge that could use some buffing to clean it up, other than that, this sword is ready to go for years to come.
