Imported from Japan this Iaito features an attractive high quality iron Aoi leaf tsuba and extremely tight ito. The saya although showing external signs of use, is snug and the koiguch shows it was worn by a student with skill. The tsuka is shimmed although it does not appear to be a reto fit. Attractive carp menuki. Ito appears to be synthetic cotton, seppa are copper and habaki appears to be brass. Defense area has two small chips (pictured) Tsuba is featured in Tozando and Nosyudo catalogs.
