Modern Japanese Shin-To-Ken Iaito with Simulated Kesho Polish

Here we have a modern Shin-To-Ken brand Iaito that has seen minimal use in its past life. Shin-to-Ken product are normally available in the USA through Aoi Budogu only as a premium line. This Iaito features a gorgeous deep brown ishime saya in perfect condition, and a very attractive simulated kesho style polish which shows a hamon and then a second etching. The fittings appear to be of alloy type but the tsuba is a high qualty steel type with attractive inserts in the flower motif. The tsuka core does have a clean split which is not a huge issue for iaito and can be glued should the user prefer. Other than that, there are no issues. A beautiful and elegant Iaito.
