Nihonto, Katana, AA13-3000 Mutsu no Kami Daido (陸奥守大道)

Here we have an absolutely gorgeous and elegant Katana. Featuring the mei "Mutsu no Kami Daido" (陸奥守大道) this sword features some excellent characteristics. While we cannot authenticate the mei, the sword features some of the identifiers of the Mino (and Daido) traditions including itame-hada, gyaku takanoha and suguha hamon. The koshirae is all original (made for) the sword with exception of modern brass seppa. A solid silver habaki is present along with tasteful shakudo fuchikashira and menuki. The main issue on this sword would be the photographed section of inactive spider web rust. This nihonto exudes class and sophistication and we are proud to offer it to you!
