The tsuka core is oversized and the ito is not wrapped tightly. There is also a straight split down the seam. A lacquer job might tighten it up and make it suitable for Iaido. You may also be able to use wood glue to seal the split. There is also a poor habaki to blade alignment which can be seen in the photos. That being said, the blade has an interesting,  non-common sugata. While this works well, if you actually train with your sword, as the saya warms around your body, the wax will start depositing itself on the sword.
